The final day of RMERC 2025 began with the Cross WG–Chapter Panel, bringing together PRME Working Groups and Chapters from across the globe to exchange perspectives on strengthening collaboration and advancing the responsible management education movement. The session featured Katalin Ásványi, Ekaterina Ivanova, Alex Hope, Al Rosenbloom, Natascha Radclyffe-Thomas, Gustavo A. Yepes-López, Evgenia Pashkevich, and Agnieszka Domańska-Sikorzak, moderated by Margaret Goralski.
The conference continued with 35 academic paper presentations across eight thematic sections, showcasing a wide range of research contributions and practical insights.
The highlight of the day were the keynote sessions under the theme “Implications for Management Education”, featuring two distinguished speakers whose work bridges innovation, sustainability, and leadership:
• Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez, Vice President of Woxsen University, delivered the keynote “Human-Centered AI for Inclusive Economic Growth.” He presented how responsible artificial intelligence can enhance human potential through practical examples such as the N-PACE system, which reaches over one million students across more than forty-five institutions.
• Prof. Pavel Luksha, Founder of Global Education Futures and Co-Founder of U4Earth and The Weaving Lab, inspired the audience with “Leadership Education for the Regenerative Economy: Inspired by Nature.” Drawing lessons from natural ecosystems, he illustrated how decentralization, mutualism, and adaptability can guide the next generation of leaders.
During the Closing Ceremony, a special moment was dedicated to honoring Prof. Alfred Rosenbloom and Prof. Milenko Gudić, who received the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award for their outstanding contributions to the PRME community and to the advancement of responsible management education worldwide.
As a memorable conclusion, participants attended the experiential session “Management and Leadership Through the Lens of Rakia Tasting.” Guided by Prof. Pavel Lebedev and Natasa Nana Zajec, the event combined sensory experience and leadership reflection, drawing parallels between the balance of flavors and the balance required in effective management and teamwork.
RMERC 2025 concluded as a celebration of ideas, collaboration, and inspiration – a gathering that continues to shape the future of management education and practice.
